Some years ago I published several alphabetical indexes of Directories of Cumberland and Westmorland and some Parish Registers of the two counties, which since 1974, are now collectively known as Cumbria. They were well received by family history researchers throughout the UK, North America and the Antipodes. Since retiring, I no longer undertake the publishing of the books as a commercial undertaking, but, rather than let the information I have collected over the years lie uselessly in a computer database, I decided that I would rehash my original publications into smaller parts and republish them as full listings on my web site. The under mentioned list shows the areas of information available. Go to it! Please Note:- These 4 areas of search will be shown at the bottom of every page you visit. You should be able to move around the whole web site fairly easily Please also note that I apologize, in advance, for the mistakes I will undoubtedly have made in my indexing. Please let me know if you find any.
